Clownfish are immune to the stings of anemones, enabling them to live within their tentacles. This works as part of a mutualistic (symbiotic) relationship between the fish and the anemone. The fish is protected by the anemone and feeds off undigested matter from it. Whereas the fish s faecal matter provides nutrients for the anemone.
